The Schools seek to admit those candidates who are best qualified to meet the academic requirements of each of the Schools’ programs, and who, by reason of academic potential and purpose, show promise of successful completion of the program.

The Medical Imaging offers two programs, all leading students to become Registered Technologist and prepares the student for entry-level positions in hospitals or comparable facilities. The programs are:

Radiography Program

  • Day/Full time,
  • For recent High School Diploma, Holders of GED or Transfer Students,
  • The Radiography program leads to a Diploma in Radiography from Hackensack Meridian Health JFK Muhlenberg Snyder Schools and an Associate in Science (AS) degree from Union County College ,
  • Six semesters of Radiography Courses (two years),
  • 39 general educations credits/41 radiography credits.
  • Advanced standing/credits evaluated (up to 36 transfer credits for comparable courses).

  • Must have a 2.5 or higher overall GPA
  • D’s, F’s, and Withdrawals in the relevant courses will be considered in application review.
  • Students with less than 12 college credits, will have their high school GPA evaluated.
2.0 cumulative GPA or higher – A&P I & II
A&P I & II – no more than 10yrs
Physics - no more than 10yrs
ATI TEAS Minimum Score:  60% or higher overall weighted score (Reading and Math will each count for 30% of score and Science and English will each count for 20% of score).
**High School Seniors are required to have completed Algebra, Biology and Chemistry

Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program

  • Day/Full time,
  • For recent High School Diploma Graduates, Holders of GED or Transfer Students,
  • The Sonography program leads to a Diploma in Sonography from Hackensack Meridian Health JFK Muhlenberg Snyder Schools and an Associate in Science (AS) degree from Union County College ,
  • Six semesters of Diagnostic Medical Sonography Courses (two years),
  • 41 general educations credits/39 sonography credits.
  • Advanced standing/credits evaluated (up to 36 transfer credits for comparable courses),
  • Credits are accepted for transfer into Baccalaureate degree programs.
