To educate and prepare the future nursing workforce; to advance the health of the people in the diverse communities of New Jersey and beyond and to support the development of the next leaders in healthcare.
To prepare beginning practioners to provide ethical, holistic, and compassionate care to diverse populations in a variety of settings.
The philosophy of JFK Muhlenberg Harold B. and Dorothy A. Snyder Schools is derived from, and is in accord with, the central purpose, vision and beliefs of Hackensack Meridian Health JFK Medical Center of which it is a part. The Faculty of the School believes that learning is a lifelong experience and that nursing education should prepare students to function safely and effectively within a variety of healthcare settings. It is our belief that nursing education should provide students with an assortment of opportunities to successfully progress through the program, to graduate, pass the licensure examination and contribute to the nursing workforce working alongside other members of the healthcare team to deliver compassionate patient care to diverse populations.
